For St. Valentine i plan to propose to my girlfriend of 6 years that i met in high school. I bought the ring it is a 3/4 ct. SI solitare.
My plan is to have her come over, take her jacket and clothes off and carry her to the bed before i even say hi. Then kiss her and say happy anniversery an Vday. Then ill give her a full body massage then sex to some frank sinatra. After i want to watch a movie anyone know a movie about high school sweethearts? Then i want to take her to the beach, i know it's Feburary and im in NY but is our absolute favorite place and i want it to remind us of the engagement everytime we go there. Anyway im having a friend set something small up because were not going to be there long and propose to her.
Please give me your ideas. Type of movie, different proposal, other things i can do for her. anything to help me please thanks.

Wow, very romantic! If she happens to say no, give me a holler! Kidding! Good Luck to you and it sounds like you have it under control!

It sounds like you have a good basic plan. Have you worked out how you are actually going to ask her?
16 candles - Molly Ringwald (opposites attract/comedy)
Valley girl - Nicholas Cage's first movie (opposites attract)
The Notebook - not high school but shows the dedication over a lifetime.
Take a look at the website below for proposal ideas. Best of luck and hope she gives you an enthusiastic YES!!

My fiance proposed to me final Valentine's Day. humorous concern is, we in many circumstances do no longer celebrate it anyhow yet he did it because of the fact we've been already occurring a dazzling date that night considering the fact that he gained Valentine's dinner for 2 at an particularly dazzling eating place. i comprehend 15 August 1945 is so commercialized at present, and prefer I reported we do no longer particularly do something out of the accepted (different than maybe smash out the bubbly). on a similar time i do no longer see what the large deal is approximately no longer wanting to get engaged on that day, I mean i comprehend it could look sort of overdone, even though it is different from you're getting married that day. it would desire to have been the different day and it does no longer have mattered to me. each and every time he became waiting to characterize became solid for me. he's the only that has to artwork as much as the concept, i could want him to do it whilst he feels the main arranged, whether it happens to be Valentine's day or no longer. a minimum of I won't forget what date we've been given engaged because of the fact i'm a forgetful individual and don't remember dates too properly.

You, there are so many ways to propose, but what I love about your idea is that you're taking her somewhere that's so special to the two of you. I love the idea that you'll remember your engagement day anytime you're at a beach together in the future.
If you're not sure how you're going to actually propose at the beach yet, here are a few ideas:
- Have the words 'Will you marry me?' written in the sand before you get there. When she sees it, get down on one knee and propose.
- Have a blanket with a bottle of wine and candles set up by your friend to surprise her when you get there.

Best of luck to you both! You've got one lucky lady there. :)

It sounds llike an awesome plan
I cant think of any good movies but as soon as you start the walk to the beach in Jan, she is going to know something is up?
The rest of the details will be blurry(for her anyway)
Awesome idea
best of luck for a long life full of happy times

I once saw in a commercial that this guy got family members to sit on some steps of a building, but they were spread out and their faces were covered because they were supposebly reading the newspaper you asked her to marry you then all of a sudden one by one the family members uncovered their faces the girl was like mom, dad aunt blah blah and so so you got the point.. lol

Congratulations! It's not about high school sweethearts, but the movie "The Lakehouse" is wonderfully romantic. She'll love it. It's about that perfect love and how sometimes you have to wait until the time is right for it.

Thats sweet, it's not cheesy or anything you want to make your proposal a memorable one.
The beach sounds nice, I mean, if it's your favourite place who cares what others think?
What about her favourite movie? Something she can watch over and over again.
