What is a flu jab???? Are you talking about someone who swabbed your throat to diagnose the flu? Or are you saying that you got an injection and since then you have had a sore throat? If that is the case they are non-realted. You may be developing a upper respiratory infection which is casuing some inflammation in your throat...see your doctor if you are running a fever....you still can get Strep throat!

I will not be having the vaccine as I believe that this has more to do with making huge profits for pharma companies than helping people. One need only do a little research into Baxter to see that they have a history of killing people in trials, and mixing live virus material with vaccines. Plus, they have a court ruling which completely protects them (financially) from any deaths which might occur after taking the vaccine. Also research the 1976 swine flu 'pandemic' in the USA. I'm not convinced that the virus was man made as some suggest. But I wouldn't rule it out completely, as a possibility.

I agree with bmac.I had the flu jab and had no reactions at all.My colleagues at work are going down like flies with colds and flu and so far I have not contracted anything.Had the flu jab done in October 2006.

The flu jab/vaccine does NOT cause the flu or any other diseases. If you have an infection going on with your throat, you caught GERMS. Germs are the only things that can give you bacterial/viral diseases.

You may experience a local reaction at the injection site consisting of redness and soreness, but this is unusual and there are certainly no symptoms of mild flu, contrary to popular belief. The virus is not a live virus so it cannot cause it. Other side effects are very rare

It doesn't protect against throat infections, just some of the most severe flu bugs.

Get the doctor to look at your throat.

If you have an egg allergy (I have) you can get a reaction in the roof of your mouth which can in some cases be dangerous. I'd suggest that you have allergy tests done, if you're allergic to eggs, it'll mean no more flu jabs as they contain egg. Good luck whatever it turns out to be.

Who knows only the main ingredients have been approved by the FDA.. the various strans Have not be approved... I guess the main stran is enough! ummm
Never had the flue shot so I wouldn't know if that would be a cause for it.. and most peeps will say it's good for you to get it Like my boyfriend.. we tend to agree to disagree on that one! I think the flu shot is a waste of time and drugs I don't think it has been researched longenough with the different new strings added yearly to know what effect it is going to have on us in 20 years!
But teach ones own!
Best of luck for you!
