I called the vet,I have already taken her for two checkups in the last few weeks! The vet was happy to hear from me, she's pretty sure that she's in early labor, I have to wait it out and just keep her quiet and the vet said she'll pop over later and check her out for me rather than take her out of the house, keep you all informed! thanks for your quick responses!

Well, today is day 62, and she still hasn'r had these pups! she has done this false 1st stage of whepling for 3 days now! and then it's just all stopped, the vet has checked her and she's fine, heathy, and just obviously not ready to have them yet! Is this normal, does anyone out their know of other dgs who have dne this? My vet said that sometime they do say 24 hrs before, but she'd never seen one do this for 3 days on and off, she' so happy, running around and playful when it all stops! I am sooo tired, sitting up every night with her waiting...waiting... I have made myself a bed on the floor next to her whepling box LOL,

You need to do lots of research before deciding to breed or at least have an experienced breeder available as a mentor for circumstances such as this. Hopefully, your vet is familiar enough with your dog to be of some help over the phone.

i recently had a litter of puppies and that may just be pre-labor stuff hapening. you should have a puppy within 24 hours of the drop in temp. if not call the vet.
