4 weeks is way too young for a pup to leave it's Mom and siblings. Take it back to the breeder for at least another 4 weeks. If something has happened that the mother can no longer care for the pup consult your vet for proper instruction on caring for and feeding of a pup this young. Good luck!

He should be still with his mother and still nursing. It is against the law for a puppy to be bought, sold, given away or adopted before it has completed his 7th week and in some places it's 8 weeks.
As far as weaning baby rice cereal mixed with puppy milk replacer and then graduate to a good quality canned puppy food and then to moistened dry puppy food.
Also no vacciantions until the puppy is at least 7.5 weeks old, preferably 8. Doing vacciantions younger then this is useless plus it can interfer with natural immunity which can cause some seriou vaccine issues later on and also immune issues.

You need to keep the puppy with the mother for about 6 to 8 weeks. If you have not weened it of the mother the dog can end up with serious issues. With that said, if you have to feed it your self you need to get a bottle and go to the pet store to get a milk mix. Just ask somebody at the pet store and they will point you in the right direction.

Well, I'm wondering how, when adoption of a puppy should be at atleast 8 weeks if you aren't the breeder. Anyway, make sure he's weaned. If not, you can find quality milk and bottles for PUPPIES, not WaWa milk, okay? At PetsMart. And good luck with the puppy!

Your pup should still be with his mom. At this age they are just getting introduced to hard food mixed with puppy milk. If you can not take it back to its mother then you want to pick up some Puppy milk and a bottle from your local Pet Smart. (some one will be able to show you how to feed him if your not sure)
As far as hard food you want to put him on Natures Recipe Puppy. It is an extremely healthy food and contains no corn, fillers, wheat, by-products or Beef.
Natures Recipe cuts down on shedding, bad breath and the amount of stool your dog will produce. They have food for all the stages of life!
Also you want to take your new pup to the vet ASAP to get him checked out and wormed. Also to get your vets opinion on if he should be on pup milk or not.
Any other questions feel free to email me.... Its X0xsimplyirresistiblexox@yahoo.com
GOOD LUCK!

That is way too young to leave its mother. Can you bring the pup back to mom for 2-4 more weeks? Call a vet & ask. If it were a couple weeks older Id say,,baby rice cereal watered down. But it is too young to digest. And,,they cannot digest cows milk either so dont give that.Seriously,,ask the vet,,a baby formula is probably needed but Im not sure what type. This is very serious & important.

After you have taken him to the Vet. for his shoots and
you can ask him whats best . It is PUPPY CHOW and a whole lot of loving. Be careful not to over feed him because at his age or her age they do not know when to stop eating.
