As far as cookies go, they probably are. Oatmeal,nuts and raisins are very good for you. There are ways you can cut down on the calories by substituting applesause for part of the butter and using a sugar substitute as well.

No cookie is truly healthy considering the butter (or worse yet, shortening), sugar and refined flour content. But oatmeal cookies, especially with raisins and/or walnuts, have a lot more nutrients than most. And they're delicious!

Sure, you could do a few things to make them even better for you. Use splenda sugar and brown sugar in place of real. Use wholewheat flour, and use tub margarine instead of butter or stick margarine. Add some chopped nuts.
They certainly are a better choice than most cookies out their. Go ahead and enjoy! (just don't finish the amount!)
