Temporal Lobe Damage: Damage to the right temporal lobe tends to impair memory for sounds and shapes. Damage to the left temporal lobe can drastically impair memory for words as well as the ability to understand language.

Sometimes damage to a part of the temporal lobe can cause personality changes such as humorlessness, extreme religiosity, and loss of libido. But again its only in few cases and i am sure very serious ones too. What i mean by serious ones is when this dysfunction was unknown and untreated(unsupervised) for a very long time.

Nothing more or less to it.

The temporal lobe is the part of the brain directly superior to the ear. It is responsible for various functions including hearing. It works together with many parts of the brain to include things like location and placement in relation to other objects.
Temporal lobe dysfunction is a very broad term - it could be a million different things. Why don't you do your homework and find out for yourself?

It usually has to do with Epilepsy, and there might be hallucinations. I work in mental health but I'm not a doctor; I have taken basic anatomy and physiology and that's what I remember about temporal lobe function. I have included a link to a web site.
