Atheist why do you feel the need to blast Christians? ie. calling us retarded, stupid, brain washed mindless people... can you not get your point accros without insults? Christians do you ever get discouraged about how many missguided people are out there?

since when is misguided an insult? Misguide: to guide wrongly. Atheist are not the only misguided ones out there, sorry you took it that way.

I am a christian, and i do not hate anyone any where, no body is perfect in this world everyone has diffrent views and diffrent experiences in each persons life. In my viewpoint I see that people are afraid and weak I am including myself. People seem to have a lack of faith in life its self. And and have become selfish greedy and out to get the other guy. Why do people have to be so
insensitive. There are a lot of angry vengfull people causing a lot of problems people need to learn to forgive.
"Retarded"... why? because I am a christian. Because I chose to belive in god the creator of the earth and the heavens and everything in it, you know Mr. Darwin said himself it is just a theory even on his death bed so why are they trying to pass it off as truth (when Darwin didnt belive it himself.)
My father said to me once and it always stuck to me. If people would not, lie, steal, take bribes, cheat, such as the old golden rule was quoated do un to others as you would have done unto you're self. The world would be better off. I personaly would like to challenge people to be good to each other and do kind deeds to one another with out having to brag about the good things they did(but alot of people just have to have that "look at me" selfglorifacation.) It is easy to do bad things it takes a strong person to do good.
I do not get compleatly Discoraged but it saddens me because so many are decived with so many lies, you know there is nothing new under the sun and GOD never changes .The devil uses the same old tricks he has always used (IT is the same old house he just redecorates it. So people take the the bait, GOD dosent want any one to suffer Sin produces death we were given freewill to choose good or evil, life or death we send our selfes to hell not God by our own choices. Once again I am a christian, but I do believe christians can cause more damage to themselfs most of all to the word of god and to those who are misguided because there are some christians that mean well but don't realize the damage they've done by their thinking they are better than others and their eragence of being a christian and their judgement on others when their not supposed to by judging others God said "Judge not for you will be judged, If you will not forgive than niether will you be forgiven, love your enemys and bless them." I asked God to bless anyone that reads this and hates me or what I have written because I write it out of love to anyone that would recieve it with love and those that hate it and hate me for writting about love, being good and kind may God Bless you and all the days of your life.

It's misguided, but yes I get very discouraged with how many misguided people there are. Most are Christians though, does that count?
When will Christians ever learn that the way to "guide" people into their faith is NOT to insult them on a continual basis? Self righteous is not pretty, you know.

Um, you do know Christians dislike Atheists because of their ideology? Christians have been dimeanoring atheists and shuting them up publicly. Atheists face a form of prejudice in everyday life because of Christianity. Atheists are called satanists, godless infidels, and many other terms. Cant they get their point across without insults? When you say discouraged about how many misguided people, its kind of insulting. What if I turned it around and said arent you discouraged about how many non logical and unreasonable people there are? Isnt that sort of insulting to you?

Wow....you just contradicted yourself. You just called the Atheists "misguided", which could readily be considered an insult. I'm neither Christian nor Atheist, but from what I've seen, the insults are usually flying from the mouth of a Christian. Just an observation.

Yes I'm tired of it. I know a 25 y/o female who blasts us Christians almost every day. If you look at her Q & A thats all she does. I still can't believe she's 25 y/o. God is like a family member to me and I would always defend my family.
I don't pick on Atheist and I never will. God will be the one they will have to answer to. Not me.

Do you see how condescending you come off as?? Im sorrry you find it insulting to call you a hypocrite, but it is the truth - you speak condescendingly to others, then kiss your fellow Xtians butts with a follow up question....
Ill tell you what discourages me: condescending Christians with bad spelling who constantly berate others and think they are above all others. As for the poster above me - Im willing to bet 8 out of 10 Atheists on this site know more about Jesus than Christians do. ITS WHY WE ARE ATHEISTS.

We are harsh because you are delusional and your beliefs hurt our society. If your side of the story doesn't hold up in academic debate, it's an indication you are wrong. Don't get all butt hurt about it.
Also, if you want to talk about condescending, you and your fellow believers are the worst offenders. YOU are the one to claim exclusive knowledge of and preference from the creator of the universe (and moral authorthity as well), while everyone else is just dumb or misled. Why do I come out here - there are never any new questions? How about we realize the fact that there are individuals out here. One christian cannot speak for another and one atheist cannot speak for another.
If you have issues with anyone, whatever their stance, take it up with them personally. Or report them. But don't ask the general public to explain the turds. It does nothing but fan the fire even higher.
