Since death is a real possibility from taking illegal drugs, I would think a murder conviction followed by life without parole would be good. However, I am for the death penalty for a drug conviction.

Not much. your life could be ruined,. and those of your family members, that's about it. I say go for it, I hear canadian prisons serve 4 star cuisine, give you a private cell with cable TV, and weekends off.
