Everyone grieves differently. Not everyone cries. Or you may not cry right now, but in a couple weeks or months, something will remind you of her and you will just cry right there. Now, if you are purposely trying not to cry, that is bad. You have to grieve, if your body wants to cry, then let it. But not everyone does. No, not crying wouldn't cause you to be cuckoo, but if other members of your family have commented that you haven't cried and they think there's something wrong with you, THAT could give you a panic attack.

Grief is a very peculiar emotion! You will most definitely have feelings and thoughts that you have never experienced before. You may have periods of numbness,i.e. an empty head apart from an intense focus on the person or bursting into tears when you least expect it. Everyone has different ways that it affects them. Don't feel guilty if everyone around you is expressing themselves in tears and your not. Undoubtedly the tears will come, it may be at a later time, when you don't even know what they are about. As for the "coocoo" that's because your brain is filled with un answered questions and they are all darting about. I'm sorry to say that the only cure is time. That means time for you to come ro terms with your loss. Good luck!

Yes of course it can. Your body has suffered a shock, physically and emotionally ! Our grandmother's are usually very special to our lives,Lot's of endearing and loving memories stay with us our whole lives. She's the first one to spoil us rotten, when we arrived on this planet, and we were the most beautiful and talented child she ever saw !There are many groups devoted to help with the grief process, perhaps someone at school or church could help you connect with the right people.Grief and loss is a real condition that effects each person differently.I wish you the best in finding help, and God bless, and I'm deeply sorry for your loss.Take care. I guess you know the fact your grandmother died, but you still struggle and try to deny the fact she has pasted away. This is usual but sooner or later you will feel empty inside and will let out your emotions.
