Sainsburys and other big supermarkets don't sell it. It's cos I've dyed my hair much too dark & I've heard it helps lighten it. Please help!

instead of that, use lemons or Kool-Aid®. They can both help lighten your hair :) Especially the Lemons.

Dawn removes oil/grease, if you added a lot hair grease that's what Dawn is for not for lightening. In California Dawn is sold at Food 4 Less, Ralph's, Target, K-Mart, Albertsons, Wal-Mart

You should be able to get it just about anywhere. It's everywhere where I live. You might try asking somone at the grocery store you shop at to see if they know where to get it. They would probably know your area than some random people on the internet. Good luck! Oh, and btw, blowdrying your hair helps alot too. I've had the same problem with my hair dying to dark.

I once tried to dye my blonde hair red and ended up with hot pink... a friend of my mother's recommended baby oil. Rub it all through, let it set for a minute then shampoo it out. It seemed to help, but only for temporary hair color.

It doesn't help, I tried it. Conditioner and i believe a tsp of baking soda mixed together works better. Google it or call a salon they will give you instructions. It takes some of the dye out.
