If you are burping it up, it's acid reflux. Please see your doctor to check for a stomach ulcer. I learned the hard way that I had a bleeding ulcer by ignoring the symptoms. All the best.

Heartburn and acid reflux are actually the same thing. What many people are talking about is GastroEsphagial Reflux Disease (GERD). I have it, 2 of my children have it, my sister has it. It's chronic reflux issues. You could possibly have Erosive Esophagus and that needs to be healed. You really need to see a doctor. My daughter's top stomach muscle actually doesn't close like it should, allowing acid to come up. It can be very dangerous to your health and your teeth.

Acid reflux..you can buy Pepcid over the counter along with Prilosec. You'll need a Dr.'s prescript for Nexium. I was on Prilosec for a year before I tapered off of it and take an occasional pepsid.

Hey there,
Here is a natural remedy to cure your acid reflux/gerd and hearth burn http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=568

Acid reflux disease, also known as gastro-esophageal reflux disease, or GERD, occurs due to the coexistence of two medical conditions. The first acid reflux disease contributing condition is a retrograde flow of stomach contents into the esophagus. However, the reflux itself does not necessarily lead to gastro-esophageal reflux disease symptoms or histologic changes, and can occur among healthy individuals as well. In this case, the process is referred to as "physiologic gastroesophageal reflux".

See your doctor as soon as you can. GERD/Acid Reflux almost caused me to bleed to death several years ago.
