Maybe a video skit addressing Hinduism in a modern-setting? We did something similar to that for a Diwali program.

Pick a deity, like Shiva or one that interests you, do research on the holiday that is celebrated and talk about or "do" a little Hindu celebration with the foods, etc.
Launching point 1: www.hinduismtoday.com
Launching point 2: your local bookstore LOTS of good books... even saw boxes with mini-statues of Ganesha and Krishna, respectively, and a book that talks about them.
GOOD stuff out there.

You could live in a hole in the ground for a couple days like you would have in the lowest castes once upon a time and report on your experience and how the caste system has changed.
