I believe in many of man's various religious doctrines. We all worship the same diety but by differing names. God, Allah, Yahweh, are one and the same. Aspects of paganism, which is not devil worship or anything evil which some people think it is, is just a very pure worship of mother earth and nature. The Egyptians worshipped the Sun. The Buddha and the way of Tao are all paths to the same source of creation. The Aztecs looked to the heavens and revered various heavenly constellations. Jesus Christ and his teachings are part of the greatest story ever told. And it is rather a symbolic accounting of events, passed down through time to guide the actions of men so that they may live lives with honor, truth and respect for one another. Whether Jesus existed or not, it is a testament for man to raise his heart and soul above his baser instincts and so to model himself after that of his Saviour. All religions should be seen as guides for us to follow to become better human beings. All religions have a god head to be looked up to or some symbol that represents all that is good. They are beacons. The light of knowledge, if you will. All religious expressions are basically one and the same. I don't understand warring religious factions, like the Catholics and Protestants of Ireland, for example, or the Jews and Muslims in Israel. These religious wars, Jihad, comes to mind, in the name of their God, that justifies killing others is pure insanity and here man is re-writing the book to suit his needs. I don't see that any God would advocate for this destructive treatment of others. He did not create any of us for the sole purpose of killing one another. Man decided that and has terribly manipulated many religious texts in his favor and the word of God, in many disciplines, has been tampered with and is not as was originally set down. Man has bastardized and misinterpreted many holy words and ideas. I, myself, therefore do not wish to label that I am either Christian, Agnostic, Buddhist, or of any particular religious leaning. I see justification and truth in all ways of thought. Basically, I look up to an unknown source that has created this universe and the cosmos. There exists infinite wisdom and a higher power, that I do not label with any other name than just God, meaning the all-knowing, all-seeing,the source within us, above us, beyond us. I feel anyone can believe in whatever they choose to believe in, but don't step on someone else's beliefs in the quest to declare your belief system superior to mine. It is not the domain of man to determine this for other men. I live by the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. That's basically all the religion I need. And "Do No Harm", a Wiccan ideology, says it all for me! Man has caused so much damage in his quest to determine The God, over and above all others, that it is sickening to think of all the deaths caused over this basic human failing. Everyone should just leave others alone. As long as they are not hurting others, let them believe what they want to believe. Are we that threatened by another worshipping the Sun and another worshipping Peter, Paul or Mary? The Church and all organized religions should learn how to stay within their own borders, and no one should transgress or denigrate the beliefs of another. The key is "belief": You are following the path to what for you gives you peace and confirmation. Jehovah, or otherwise, why is this a threat to what I believe? We all have different personalities, do we want us all to be of the same temperament, interests, occupations, etc.? The world is big enough for all of us. This "crusader" mentality seems to never want to go away. What are people really afraid of? To me, this anti-this and anti-that is based on a fear of some sort. My next door neighbour is a Bible-thumping Christian, my other neighbour is a Catholic, my neighbour across the street is an Athiest. That doesn't bother or upset me. Why does it ever matter to anyone else? If your religious beliefs are serving you well, you'd be content, wouldn't you? Just man being his own base self. We've still got a long way to go to understand and assimilate any religion!

Agnostic (?)-I would assume if there are more powerful beings than humans, there would be more than one-they would not be singular. Nothing exists as one. It takes two or more for anything. A belief in Satan would automatically dispute the idea that God is all powerful or, if you believe 'He' created him also, then that goes against the description of God as loving. If 'He' were one being, then 'He' would have to be bi-polar to kill and then be against killing.
But, I heard/read somewhere that skeletal remains of homo-sapiens were found 6,000 yrs ago and nothing before. As time goes by, unexplained events are explained, though. So, maybe human-kind will know in the future.

I am a Christian and believe Jesus is the only way to God as he said.
I've had prophetic dreams that have come true, I've heard his voice (in my head) a few times, once when I wanted to die I heard him say, 'But I have great plans for you". I had a prayer I had asked for as a child come true when I was 35, it's when it was supposed to come true-this one shocked me! I was awaken at night and saved someone-something shook my leg about 3-4 times! I've felt Jesus' over powering love engulf me when I was the most sad in my life, not expecting it at all. This is only a small portion of my experiences. The bible is the most amazing book. Try reading the new testament and you'll be amazed.
He's there, he's real and he's Jesus.

I'm Christian, and never found the need to bash another's religion. I like good, honest, friendly people, and find that in many regardless race or religion or preference.
My testimony is having God in my life. Whether good or bad comes my way, and we all have ups and downs, I thank him for giving me favor, for guiding even through the roughest times.

I'm a non-denominational Evangelical. The short and sweet of it is I've been a hard core sinner all my life. My way was killing me. I didn't want to die a death of hell for eternity. One night I got up to use the bathroom. When I returned to bed I noticed the Crucifix that was hanging on the wall above my bed was now laying on my pillow just right to let me know it didn't fall there. It was a moving experience. Months later I came to repent to God and heaven for my sins from my heart and asked Jesus to come into my heart and I would make him my Savior.I found a very good bible based church and was baptized. My life hasn't been the same since. His spirt is in my heart always. I'm a changed man. Thanks

Ok. I am a . I believe that God is the one and only true God. Because i am a Christian i believe that the only way to get to Heaven is to accept Jesus into your life, asking for forgiveness and repenting of all your sins. I did this when i was four, but i didn't' really know what i was doing then. All i knew was that mom and dad wanted me to do it, so i did it. it wasn't until my freshmen year of High school that this God stuff started to become real to me. before that, i went to church and Sunday school, i memorized verses and such. But i didn't really take it to heart. Then, in my soft more year of High School, i went to a conference called HSLT down in myrtle beach. (High School Leadership training) it was there that i completely surrendered my life to Christ, it was there that i learned who God really is and how amazing He is. I truly believe in God, not because my parents told me to, but because i have experienced what God can do in mine and other peoples lives, and i have felt his heart touch mine. I Love God, i always will.

I don't belong to a religion. I am very spiritual. The Creator has shown me things throughout my lifetime that lets me KNOW he is there and that one day I will meet him.
