i am getting ready to get mine done in a few?? how bad does it hurt?

the actual piercing doesn't hurt at all because there are no nerves in the very center of your tongue. plus you will have swished for a minute with listerine which numbs your tongue AND your tongue is being pinched with the clamps so that makes it numb as well. however the day after it is pierced it will be swolen and sore and you should refrain from eating anything big and bulky. i stuck with rice pudding and jello for a few days. good luck!

ya when hey are doing the actual peircing you can barely feel it and few hours later it will swell and it will hurt so stay away from hard foods for a little while and eat soft foods like ice cream or soup!

NO it dont hurt to get it done i have mine done. you can feel them pierce it, but about an hour later you will feel it swell then it will hurt a little.. BIG tip.... dont eat hard food eat soup or ice cream for the first few days.. and use listerine always after you eat

I thought it was going to hurt really bad....but I was amazed, I hardly felt it at all. It will be swollen and uncomfortable for a few days though

Stings very much. You're prone to get swelling and bleeding. Looks tacky and ho-ish. Creates throat infections.

i want my tougue peirced too, but i'm 15..but anyway...i know several people that have one...they said it doesn't hurt, but you just can't eat certain things such as spicey stuff
