Put them in a bowl of water as you cut them and add a little salt to the water. Or, you can add a little bit of any kind of acid, like lemon juice, wine or vinegar.

In almost any grocery store you can buy a product called Fruit Fresh. It is a preservative. It just helps keep the naturally produced iron in the apples from oxidizing. My mom used to cut apples for us when I was little and kept them in a bowl of water inside the fridge.

Either sprinkle them with lemon juice, or there's this citrus powder you can buy in the canning goods section of the store that you can sprinkle on them (in a baggie) that will keep them fresh. If you want to have cut up apples on hand in the frig and keep them fresh, a food sealer works great. You can cut the package open, take out what you want and reseal them.

Squeeze lemon juice over them - be certain to coat the apples with the juice. i take advantage of the stuff from a bottle, that way i don't have a ton of lemons in my refrigerator. It provides the apple incredibly a lemon style even though it particularly is greater helpful than that brown gross style!

Yes, lemon juice is good. The acid stops/slows down the oxidization.
