and in the day too. What I believe is that it is a very special thing to hear His voice and that can only come through the Holy Spirit. A person can read about anything, especially in this day of the internet but a person can only know Jesus through personal experience. Of course, those of us living today know Jesus through faith and confession. After believing and receiving the Holy Spirit, the third Person in the Holy Trinity, then and only then can one know Jesus and/or hear Him.
Notice, the words, "my sheep" that means those who know and who belong to Jesus, fully.

Here we go.
I know more about Jesus than practically any "Christian" I've ever met. That's why I'm NOT a Christian. I've done some honest research, which frightens the orthodox, who've built their entire house of cards on grounds which the progress of human thought has swept away.
You're describing an internal, emotional experience that has nothing whatsoever to do with the historical personage we call "Jesus." You simply like to refer your "personal relationship" - the reality of which I won't bother to dispute - to the fable you've heard all your life about the 2,000-years-dead magical carpenter.
There IS in fact an inner, mystical Truth behind the mythologies of all religions; but there's also a tendency on behalf of humans to confuse the symbols with the things they represent. The real value of any religion doesn't depend on one's acceptance of notorious lies as literal historical truths. Consider the fact that practically all the symbolism of Christianity was hijacked from earlier pagan traditions.

I know Him and I know about Him. He speaks to me through his Word (the Bible), in my heart, mind.
Only in the past the prophets could hear Him, but not now, we have His word, His name, His spirit, and before they didn't that's why they could hear him.
If someone say that saw Jesus, or that heard His voice, they need to go to a christian church, and have someone to do a strong prayer for them to expell all evil in Jesus name.

Jesus was a charismatic first-century Palestinian rabbi who got executed for sedition by the occupying forces. He had some great ideas about how people should live, and some barbaric ideas about how God would treat people who broke "his" rules. He thought the world was ending, and it didn't. And most of the words that the Gospels claim he spoke were put in his mouth by later Hellenistic mystery-cultist redactors.

YES! I've heard his voice many times. Once telling me he had great plans for me when I wanted to die.

Yes, it is possible.
The Bible declares that even the demons believe and tremble.
Jesus said, that many would say in that day,Lord,Lord, did we not prophecy in your name?...and Jesus told them that he never knew them and to depart from Him.

Many Biblesexuals, evangelicals, and literalists fall into the "know about, but not know Jesus" category.

In the morning He would always wake me up by calling my name.
I still hear Him but not like that anymore.
