He's allergic to eggs and nuts, and we are a vegetarian family. He hates cheese, milk, formula, soymilk and beans, he even hates pudding and chocolate milk. The only proteins I get get him to eat are soy yogurt and romano cheese(not even parmisan). Any suggestions on how I can get him to drink milk or eat dairy?
How do I know that he's getting enough protein and calcium?

The doctor knows about it already and she says he's fine. It just worries me. He does eat a lot of yogurt.

Your son should not be drinking cow's milk. You are causing more harm than possible good despite your best intentions.
There are only two reasons which I've found to support humans drinking cow's milk. We have grown up hearing that it's good for us and we've grown accustomed to the taste and texture. There is absolutely no nutrition that can not be obtained elsewhere, minus the negatives. Calcium seems to be the major claim for milk. It can be found elsewhere in green vegetables, almonds, and many other sources. Where do you think the cows obtain the calcium to put into the milk? Where do other larger animals (elephants, horses, deer, whales, etc) get calcium? Why we continue to drink cow's milk laced with growth hormones, antibiotics, and who knows what else is beyond me.
Since I've given up drinking milk about 5 years ago my health has greatly improved. I suffer fewer allergy problems, asthma and breathing problems are greatly reduced, I'm sleeping better, and I have more energy.
Do some research online and decide for yourself.

Surprising as it is, those giant pretzels have quite a bit of protein. Add some nacho cheese and you've got a good carb, protein balanced snack. Depending on his age-1/2 a pretzel is 1 serving. If you have a Sam's Club available to you the pretzels are 20 for 6 bucks and the cheese comes in a #10 can (the big institutional size) for 5 or 6 bucks. So for less than 15 bucks you have a good tasting snack that lasts for 2 weeks or so.
That is what I ate when I was pregnant with my twins--my doctor wanted me to balance my carbs and proteins equally and that was my favorite snack!

well my daughter is 4 1/2 and about 6 months ago she refused to drink milk anymore. I was telling her about how good it is for her bones and stuff, but she still refused. So then one day that got milk commerical was on where the kids were telling their mom that their neighbor (who you can see out the window) never drinks milk. Just then, the neighbor picks up a wheel barrel and his arms fall off. Then the kids and the mom all start chugging their milk. I had her watch that and it fixed the no milk drinking problem! Sounds kind of mean now that I repeat it though....

Try buying chocolate Milk for him (a half gallon just for him so he feels special) or buy milk and pour it into a cup and give him Hershey's Syrup to put in there and have him mix it all up. if he likes it, you do it the next time, and pour less and less in every time you mix it. It wil be more healthy when you decrease the amounts.
Good Luck! Hope this Helps!

Just keep offering it is all you can do, but I would also check into some protein powder that they usually put in smoothies. You could put it in almost anything. Just be careful, some powders are so HIGH in protein that you could give him too much which is bad for the kidneys.
