Hmm. I'm male, 20 years old, dating. From my standpoint, a card with a lot that you have to say would be good. Say things that might touch his heart, make him smile, good times, and such. If you want to include something like... a box of chocolate, make sure to incorporate it into your card/letter that somehow makes a connection to something special the two of you have shared together. In other words, just make the card and attached gifts as special and sweet as possible. At the end, ask if he'll go out with you again because you mean so much to him. If he respects everything you've said to him in the letter, things should go well for the most part. Good luck!

I wouldn't get him anything I may be wrong but I think Valentine gifts is just for women only. I have never given a man any Valentines present, I thought they was suppose to give candy or flowers to the girls only. If you want to get him something get him a cute card.

Why dont you find out if he wants to be back with you before you go get something for him. Get back together first if you really want to and see if it even lasts till Valentines Day.

I agree with Starla. It sounds like you just don't want to be alone on Valentine's day, and even the ex will do. Forget it. Grow up and stand on your own.

Obviously you still have unresolved feelings for your "ex". How does he feel about you?
It's inappropriate for you to get him anything for Valentine's Day, you aren't a couple at the moment. Until you are, I wouldn't get him anything.

Not a thing. there is a reason he is your ex, on one side or another. If you want to get back with him, ask him. If you are back together, THEN consider getting him a gift. Don't try to buy your way back though. That can only get you hurt.
