The chicken came first because the Lord created all creatures and then commanded them to reproduce. The egg is the form of reproduction for the chicken.
As for the cows, if I had to stand around all day eating grass I would lay down every now and then, rain or no rain. Moooove over Betsy, momma's gotta chill for a bit. 8~)

No idea about the chicken/egg puzzle but I was told that if some cows are lying down and some are standing up there will be scattered showers!!!!

egg came first cause you got dinosaur eggs, and if some are standing up and some are sitting down, it means the cows dont have a clue whether its going to rain or not. or its not going to rain and some cows are being lazy.

Don't cha no that chickens are the fore runners for alien life on earth they have been on earth for years just watching us spooky. The cows are just doing the hokey pokey but going up and sown instead of in and out
