During the movie, especially in a boring part... so go see a boring movie. You can put your hands on each others' faces, legs, whatever... or even roam around if you think it's a good idea ;)

I'd imagine just about anywhere - arms, legs, back of the head, back. I'd think that starting to kiss at the beginning of the movie would be a bit quick, unless you'd been dating for a while. Middle or ending would be typical...really, I'd think you'd start to kiss during the romantic part of the movie.
