AirTran Airways on Tuesday defended its decision to remove a Massachusetts couple from a flight after their crying 3-year-old daughter refused to take her seat before takeoff.

She was removed because "she was climbing under the seat and hitting the parents and wouldn't get in her seat" during boarding, Graham-Weaver said.

The airline was absolutely right. An adult would have been arrested for that type of behavior. They have safety regulations that have to be followed. Try refusing to sit down on your next flight and see where you land!

The parents should have taken control of the situation, but wouldn't or couldn't. But the airline did take control. If the child was hurt or injured during the flight the airline would have been sued. In my opion the airline made the right choice. They offered them another flight time.

whether I wasn't an atheist, i could be slightly worried a pair of pilot who wasn't effective of their very own expertise to get me the place i replaced into going adequately that he felt the could ask god for help. i desire the cabin group to pilot the airplane, no longer some invisible being interior the sky. Edit: via the way, you of course think of it extremely is large because you're offering a Christian prayer. yet, given the present situation, how could you experience sitting on a airplane if the captain got here on the intercom and started praying in Arabic? (i'm only pointing this out as an occasion of the two hypocrisy and concept)

The airline was 100% right. Completely rude of the parents to keep over 100 other passengers waiting just because they could not discipline their child.

The airline was right.

Why aren't you asking what's wrong with the Parents who have a child that out of control?

Absolutly right. The parents were idiots to not do anything about the kid not sitting in their seat. Airline had no choice. They could be sued if the kid got hurt.
