Probably so because the DA's offices wouldn't waste the time prosecuting if they don't think they have a good case against the defendent.

Not sure about your country but in ours the Crown (the Canadian version of the D.A.'s office in the US) can't admit or even fathom the idea of being wrong.

Defense atourny's don't like rocking boats as they all hope to become judeges etc .

It's a pretty partisan club the judicary .
