my friend has been asking weird questions when we e-mail each other, what does she mean in this question???

Not to be obtuse, but have you posed this question to her? While it is likely that she is flirting with you (or, if nothing else, expressing an interest), it is entirely possible that you're reading too far into this. In addition, not being frank with someone whom you obviously care enough about (or are interested enough in) is a bad way to start anything.
My advice: be sensitive about her feelings, and just listen. If it is a real possibility, express your interest in her (assuming there is one). So long as you are mature and responsible about it, and you can tactfully allow her to know that you WON'T become a total jerk if she shoots you down, there really aren't any harsh consequences. Worst case, turns out she's a nut and can't handle the concept of a friend who is attracted to her; better to find out now than later. Best case, you've got a date with someone you already know you can talk to!
If she's insistently cryptic, IT IS FOR A REASON. She's insecure, frightened even at the thought of rejection or ruining a good friendship. Assure her that neither of those will happen and have it occur as such. That simple. Once she trusts you, and you behave in a manner that deserves that trust, you'll understand everything she says.

She wants you to see her as a dork, since you think dorks are hot! If you like her more than a friend, then ask her what she means! ;)

Mate, I've got the same problem with a girlfriend. Don't get confused and frustrated, just let it go over your head. All women are from outer space and are completely insane!!! But they're still great though, and I'm always up for a challenge!!

i think she feels that shes a dork. and then you said you dont like dorks. so she thinks that your not attracted to her and she wants to know if you dont think shes hot then what do you like her as. thats how i see the message.

It sounds like she might be interested in you and is trying to figure out how you feel about her without actually coming out and asking directly. For some reason, this is difficult for girls.

I think she means what kind do you like her, as friends or as love like in the process (get interested in). Why don't you ask her what does she mean by that

If you think dorks are hot, pehaps she's asking if you think of her as a dork? :p Do you think she's hot? If so, then tell her. She's probably as confused about you as you are of her.

Better hop on that sounds like she likes u. tell her how ya feel. whats the worst that can happen? Shes prolly tryin to get your goat. SHe prolly knows you like her and shes seein what kind of response she can get outta ya! (I do it all the time) haha. Good LUCK!
