Hi there...CatSip is ONLY fine as an occasional treat, however isn't nutritious for cats. If you look at the ingredients it contains partially hydrogenated oil (fats that turn to solids that clogs the arteries), and corn syrup which are just preservatives and additives. Any veterinarian can confirm this as a fact as well so it's important cats drink water as the primary hydrating source. Additionally, cats cannot get intestinal parasites from drinking dairy rather suffer from diarrhoea because they lack the digestive enzymes which makes them lactose intolerant. You know I have heard it isn't good for them, but I give my kitty milk sometimes and she likes it. They make milk for cats you can get at Kroger in the pet aisle. (it's called Milkl for cats) I guess some cats are bothered by real milk. My vet says as long as the milk does not bother her go ahead and give it to her once in a while.

NO! Most cats are lactose intolerant and also it makes them obese. The only milk most can tolerate is their mother's as a kitten. My vet said NEVER to give them milk but just water.

cats love it, but just as i love candy. the point is milk might taste good to cats but it isn't healthy for them. cats are actually lactose intolerant, so milk to a cat might taste good but it will also give them a stomachache at the very least.

Adult cats no not need milk and there is no reason to feed it. I do not know of any worm transmitted through any kind of milk product.

actually, it's bad to give a cat milk. heart worms love cats that drink milk, they find it easier to breed in their intestines if the cat drinks milk. it's better if you stick to water for a cat.

Try giving her Carnation Evaporated Milk, it's cheaper and better for them. It does contain a lot of fat, so be sure your cat isn't overweight.

I gave that milk to my kitten once and it gave him horrible gas. So, I will assume that it depends on your cat, but, I would ask a vet before I gave it to him/her.

I give it to my cat occasionally and he loves it and doesn't have any problems. He is as healthy as a cat can be.
