My grandma and I were sharing a room, and I told my brother to hide in the closet before we went to bed, and when I coughed, to jump out of the closet to scare her...
So, he got in the closet and my grandma and I got into our beds, and we started talking, but I couldn't find the opportunity to "give the signal," so it took awhile...finally, though, I coughed, and waited...nothing happened so I figured my brother had fallen asleep in the closet! So, I coughed again, and he jumped out and scared the crap out of my grandma...she jumped so hard that she almost fell out of her bed!
It was hilarious, but thinking back on it, it could have given her a heart attack...maybe you should save the pranks for someone younger.

Tell her that a young teenage family member is pregnant ... play it out very convincingly for at least 10 minutes.
If you don't think she'll believe it, tell her you found a pregnancy test "hidden" in the bathroom trash can.
