I have two female 4 month old husky pups..its been about a week since their last puppy shot..I have to leave them in a kennel outside when I come to my future sister in laws house to watch her baby 5 days a week..I know they must get bored with not enough room to run. Well she has a big fenced in backyard and has already told me it would be alright to bring the pups over..I was wondering if enough time has passed since their shots that I am able to take them places now?

to answer rvc...no they aren't litter mates..got them from two different "breeders" but they are absolutely crazy lol..We take them on nightly walks with our two older dogs and we have to put the packs on them because they are so full of energy

If they have had three proper vaccinations they should be ok. The only way i would say no is if your sis-in-law has had a dog that has had parvo. Parvo can stay in the environment for up to 6 months so I wouldnt risk it if she did have a dog with parvo. Other then that the only thing your dog might pick up from her yard is possibly worms and if they are on heartworm treatment monthly they should be ok. If you have any questions email me

NOT a good idea. You shouldn't expose your pups to any other dogs or dog areas until they are 6 months and have their parvo defense up. Parvo can last in the environment for 2 years- that means if just one infected dog/carrier passed through the yard 2 years ago, your dogs can become ill if they come into contact.

Shouldn't be any problem at this age if they have had all their shots.

oh, they should be fine. i wouldn't give them a bath for another week, but they'd be okay in your sisters yard.

good luck!!
