I caught my GF following me the other day, the thing is I had another girl in the car with me that I was dropping off. When I called me GF to see if she'd tell me if she was following me or not, she denied it at first but once she realized I knew she admitted to it. I went back to her place that night but I didn't say a word to her. She called me last night and asked if I was coming back and I told her no. I told her that she was a liar. She's a really good person but she's too into my personal business and then she lies about snooping and now following me. Why did she lie? I gave her her keys back and took all of my things from over there. At first she was going along with the break up but as I was leaving she broke down and started crying and begged me to forgive her. I forgive her but I need my space now. Then she started telling me about lies that I'd told that she'd found out the truth about.

I care about her but she's possessive over me and that bugs me sometimes. But was wrong for dumping her for telling that lie although I know I've lied before. I just need my space right now. She cried really hard when I left but I can't deal with her possessiveness and her little white lies.

Sounds like you made the right decision for yourself. Lies, big or small just lead to bad communication and turn out to be big mess in the end. If she cannot trust you, or vise versa, then you two have nothing. She needs to trust you but I'm not sure what you've lied about, so maybe that is why she had suspicions. Perhaps you two need to seriously talk about everything that happened if you want to move on with her, or even remain friends.

In my opinion you were right to break up with her, not necessarily because of the 'white' lies but because she is showing some major red flags by going thru your things and following you. Everyone can justify 'white lies' but stalking someone is just plain creepy! I think it's better to end on this note than to go back in and she get even worse... like keeping your nail clippings in a locket around her neck! ;)

wow... first of all, if she is following u then that means she doesn't trust u.. and also that makes her a stalker. I would be careful with this one, and if u need your space.. take it. don't feel bad for her crying, if she has trust issues, then she needs to work on them, and that's not your fault. My x was life that, and even thought we have been broken up for SIX WEEKS he still is all up In my business and stuff. it is crazy dealing with people like that. good luck

Maybe she follows you because you have OTHER girls in your car. You sound like a JERK!
