i cut the word lost in big letters up my arm cause that is how i feel and the only way to get the feeling out of me for a while. i did stop cutting and holding ice but carving the actual feeling helps more.i do cut my wrists normal cuts aswell how can i stop doing this?????

First, you need to get some help. Talk to your parents or the school counselor about getting to see a therapist. The therapist will help you work through your problems.

Second, here are some things to try when you get the urge to cut:
dance
paint
draw
put your hands in cold water
snap a rubber band on your wrist
exercise
punch a pillow

ripping stuff really helps..throwing pillows..
you need to find other ways to cope with your feelings
if you stay away for long enough, like i did
i just can't do it to myself anymore..i cant even make myself bleed
but cutting is caused by something else that may get better with medicine or something
i would talk to a doctor..it is not easy to stop

make sure you can never be by yourself or have any sharp object. You need to tell your parents about this its really important that you do i mean it might be a bit embarrasing but you know the saying better safe then sorry =)
