I used to have to memorize chapters in the Bible every week. I found that writing them out and separating each verse, (like highlighting every other one), and then walking on the treadmill helped a lot. I read one, close my eyes and say it. Read 2, close my eyes and try to say both. Something about the rhythm of walking helps the brain to retain things like this. A lot of my classmates paced while they memorized.

If you have help from someone, write them all down, numbered out, this worked for me quite a bit, but out each one with the numbers on one side and the commandment on the other. Shuffle them up, and grab 3 out of the pack, study all three of them, and then randomly grab one, and then say it out loud, turn it over to see if you are right, once you get those three down, add another to the group, then, conitnue pulling them out until you have all four down, continue adding one to your stack, until you have all of them and you can do each one. It will come to you, sleep on it afterwards, when you get up the next morning you may be slightly rusty, but go through a couple times, if you had them down the night before, they should come to you after just a couple tries, but be sure to do them the morning before your quiz, therefore they are all fresh in your head.
Good luck!!

Take the numbers 1-10 and make giant mental pictures out of them having to do with the subject of the commandments. 1 could be bowing, for instance, "no other gods before me", etc.
