God may have created us to save fallen souls. There is spiritual warfare taking place on earth. I believe that there are three worlds... the physical (earth) and two spirit worlds consisting of the spirit realms of good and evil. Spirits from both spirit realms have the ability to effect our world through channeling/possession of human beings.
I can tell you that people definitely do have souls. I have the ability to see souls. I have seen the colours of white, black, red, yellow, gold, and gray in people's eyes. Sometimes I can even see the shape of people's souls protruding slightly from their bodies.

It is in God's nature to expand and create. He can't not contradict his nature, thereby he made a commandment to spread and multiply. With regards to a soul, God did not give us a soul but rather it was a consequence of His image infusing itself to a material/physical body. Other term for souls are intellect, ego, spirit.
Yes, we are here to learn our true nature as spirit and in the process of becoming like God or sons of God. This would take several life times, perhaps thousands before rejoining the creator permanently.

there is no such thing as a soul, because we sould lose our soul when we do bad things, but its us who choose to the bad things and good things, so the good and evil is within us. we have to choose what we want to do, not the god.
