What makes your faith tangible? In your own life expiriences, what has happened to make you believe?

I dont care what religion you believe in, I just want to know how you feel your faith is true.

Because we all know that Religion is not logical, it requires "faith", I want to know what makes faith "real" to people.

To have faith is to believe.
My granddaughter was born 1#5oz. We where
told she would die. She was baptized. We all
prayed. I had NEVER prayed like this before.
I would of given my life for her to live. And she
did. Today she is a healthy 9 year old.
God truly saved her. Of this I have NO doubt.
That is the day I believed she would be saved.
And she was. Isn't God wonderful!!

It's like asking why my kid sister chose to marry Harry instead of Barry...maybe she had more faith in Harry; but faith requires reason and only she will know.
I believe in God because I see the sun rise and set every day and the scientists swear that they didn't make the sun and it's not a product of evolution...so, a creator had to make the sun..yes?

However, speaking religiously, true faith in God seems to be a gift from a remote source...some have it, others don't.

To you personally, I would say, if you have no reason to believe in God, just don't..real faith may be very personal.

I grew up in a Christian home and became an atheist by age 11. I absolutely denied the possibility of God, I hated the mere thought of it. On occasion I would mock Him and demand proof~I was very specific in what I would accept, only this would serve to prove His existence. For 31 years I kept it up, and finally I decided that I would ask no more. It was during a moment of extreme despair, and I just gave it up and said that God couldn't possibly exist and I would never ask again. It was at that very moment that I received the sign for which I had been asking~the specific sign I had demanded. Needless to say, I'm no longer an atheist. I believe.

It is believing without seeing. It is a great feeling. It is hard to explain. It is total trust. Just like you have faith that your mom will feed you as a child or you have faith in your spouse. It is totally giving your heart to something. I can feel the lord. That is what makes it real to me. Praying and having them answered. SOmetimes it takes a while for that faith to grow. Like trust. But I put all my faith in Jesus. I can feel him and I know he is real. I hope this helps. God bless

It could not be tangible or real to me without the touch of God that goes along with it. Otherwise it would just be a possiblity for me.

My faith is from personal experience. I believe we are all one soul, individualized. When we die we return to the one soul. I've felt that unity at certain times during my life, so I feel it to be true. You may say it's a delusion but that doesn't really matter to me. Believe what you want and I'll do the same.
