Is that instant gratification worth having some sort of disease?

Great question, I wish I could answer it. Far too often I see questions about people scared of pregnancy when they used no contraception. They should also be concerned with STDs.

They just don't think. Whether they're caught up in the moment, think it won't happen to them or for the increased pleasure. Any way you look at it it is not worth the risk.
All I can say to people who have unprotected sex is "think People."

We are human. We are not perfect.

Sometimes alcohol helps wear down our inhibitions so we are more likely to do something we wouldn't normally do. Also, I believe some people get so caught up in the moment, it is really hard to stop. Also, I think a lot of people think....it won't happen to me.

Many people don't think of that until it's too late. Their hormones overpower their logic. Then regrets sets in.
