why would he say for me to move on if i don't think he really wants me to?

my ex and i broke up a few months ago but we still see each other often......we still only hook up with each other and no one else.....he says its better if i move on, but if i were to even try to talk to another guy he gets all jealous and would hate me forever......i don't get it

let him hate you for a stupid reason, you guys aren't dating anymore... seriously stop seeing him and talking to him. Just move on with your life!!
