The 30d is a better camera with more features and is more of a semi-professional camera while the Rebel XTi is more of a consumer level camera, it's constructed cheaper and can't do everything that the 30d can do. You would need to find a comparison chart on a site such as dpreview to compare the two side by side.

They are two different cameras. The 30D is a prosumer level camera where the rebel is an entry level camera. Go to canon's site or other sites and do some research on the features of each.
