Installation files have to be .dmg on mac os so you could open them. i dont think you can open .exe... macs have this thing though where you can run windows (through bootcamp) and use it normally. That might work i guess, but its not recomded for the performance of your computer.

You have to use virtual PC on a PowerPC Mac. You can't get boot camp unless you have Intel.

Use bootcamp and have XP as your other OS
Microsoft Virtual PC
VMWare's Fusion

They should all be easy enough to find and download using google and they should solve your problem.
