I want to swap my ford 5000 rds eon radio cassets to a ford 6000 eon? is it a straightforward job? can i take one out and just fit the other straight in it's place? are the ford cd's and radio's interchangeable?

Should be quite easy. As the radio is probably made by the same manufacturer (Ford don't make them) it should be a case of plug and play. If youre fitting another brand say JVC for example you may need to buy a facia kit to adjust the apature and a harness kit.

Yes it's simple just plug it in stick the code in and away you go should take all of 10 minutes to change.

Just check if the wiring ends are the same then it should work

yeh. they just plug in. buy one from ebay. sell yours their as well mayb. get one WITH CODES and KEYS to remove it with
