I heard that if an eyelash falls out that it won't grow back. Is that true and if not can you give me some facts stating otherwise? My eyelashes fall out sometimes and I'm worried that by the time i'm 40 I'm not gonna have any.

It is true eyelashes don't grow back. That's why always use good mascaras that don't make you eyelashes fall. ANd don't worry most likely u wont have no eyelashes by the age of 40, if u wont put lots of bad and cheap mascara on it. But we do see old ppl walking around with no eyelashes.

All hair falls out because they have a certain life span (3 months i think). But did you ever see anyone without eyelashes or hair on their head? There is always hair replacing the ones that fall out so dont worry...

Your eyelashes grow back, just like the hair on your head does.
They may thin out when you are MUCH older. You'll still have plenty at 40.

i know that if you cut your eyelashes they dont grow any longer thahn the length they are cut to. but according to wikpedia there is a condition called madarosis which is charactorised by loosing eyelashes.
this condition can be treated by eyelash transplant.

I knew a guy in high school that plucked all his out for the sake of style...wierdo if you ask me...
but they grew back cause he kept plucking them...

it will grow back, just like hair on your eyebrows......
