I don't think you'll find second hand "smokers". There aren't people hanging around smokers to inhale the excess smoke from them. therefore, There are smokers and there are non-smokers. Non-smokers though, can be exposed to second hand smoke from smokers in the same area as they.

I'm not exactly sure what you are searching for, but the difference is simple...smokers smoke and they risk lung cancers, heart attacks and disorders and many other illnesses while non-smokers do not smoke and they have less risk to lung cancer, heart diseases and so on.

Those who are frequently exposed to second hand smoke are at a moderate risk of lung cancer, heart diseases and so on depending on the exposure of the second hand smoke.

Also keep one very important factor in mind. Though smokers have the highest risk and non smokers have the lowest, genetic composition plays a key role. There have been people who've smoked until their 90s and died of other causes and those who have never smoked and died of lung cancer.

smokers actually smoke the cigarettes. second hand smokers only inhale the smoke from the smokers. and non-smokers don't smoke at all. second hand smoke is usually completely involuntary and the result of too many smokers in this world.
