to hire someone to potty train my child? My family says he's getting too old to be in diapers (nearly 3). I want to put him in daycare, but it will be cheaper if I have him trained already !! He needs to be around other children to learn socialization skills, and get a kickstart on his education !! It's why I want to enroll him!

Some daycares will help with potty training. It may be more expensive, but if you actually hired someone to do this you would have to pay them as well.

If your son is nearly three, he should be old enough to understand you. Have a talk about why its important to go potty. We used to put cherrios in the toliet and have them try to aim at them.

Well you really need to work on training him all the time. You should put him in daycare and pay the extra bucks for awhile i guarantee that his teachers will have him trained in a few weeks. The less diapers to change for them the better. Plus your son will see the other kids using the potty and it will motivate him. If you are really concerned about the money just send him in underwear and tell the teachers he is just starting to use the potty. It is a small lie but they can handle it. I have worked in daycare....seen this done before. Good luck.

Both of my kid were potty trained before they were the age of two. My son just turned 2 and he is potty trained. You ned to work with your children. You are his mother. Do your job and teach your children.

The joys of parenthood include washing the spit up,
changing yucky diapers.. AND another joy of parenthood is teaching your child how to go to the bathroom properly.
Get a book on the subject, this is part of raising a child normaly and its your job so get to it!

I've never heard of such a service. You really need to handle this yourself. Speak to your child's doctor, family and friends who have gone through this and get some books on the subject. Be patient and keep trying.

a lot of children arent completely potty trained until they are nearly 4. If your family seems to think the child is ready (like say your mom keeps pressuring you), ask her to come over for a weekend and help.

i think that is very lazy of you. You should train your own child. it is your job as a parent.
