I have a fitness test in two weeks time in which I have to have a grip test. I must achieve 35 in my right hand and 33 in my left however my current strength is 28 in my left and 30 in my right. I have been going mad with the weights etc but it has not made any difference. Is it even possible to achieve what they need? If so i have little time to do it so any tips that could dramatically help me achieve this grip strength would be very much appreciated

Reverse Curling...with a towel around the bar to make it harder

Wrist curl....both with your palms up and down

Plate Pinch...where you take 2 5-10 pound weights and hold them face to face for as long as possible and when you cant hold with one hand anymore switch...doing 6-7 sets each hand

Farmers walk......well the walking part is optional but just hold 2 heavy dumbells for as lonng as you can...walking just makes it not as boring

heres an actual article about grip strength if you'd like to read it

Grip strength comes from the forearms so wrist curls works very well, If you have weights place your forearms on a bench with palms facing up, your hands at the edge with a barbell in them , then allow the barbell to slowly lower to the ends of your fingers then curl back up, do this two to three times a week and not on consecutive days and you should see improvements, good luck.

stay on benefits... dont push yourself to achieve their benchmarks.. coz when you cant, after you have, your complains fall on deaf ears... and they stop your benefit...
