If you are that close, please force yourself to finish. I've experienced the same lack and it takes a lot of inner strength to overcome it. You can do it. It's not near as long as it has been. Just keep reminding yourself how much this will better you in the future and make yourself finish. Don't let something like laziness ruin an education that will be beneficial to your survival in this mean world!! Come on... I'm pulling for you, YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

I know it sounds old hat, but plan. Set yourself some study targets to reach every day but also timetable in some relaxation time, some time to do essential stuff and some time for fun. Timetable stuff for a week in advance and don't make excuses not to do stuff - all these things are important for your wellbeing. I know how hard it can be, I always crammed in the last week or so but I was lucky - or maybe just brilliant ;) but I've learnt since those days that other ways can work better. Get working and best of luck in your final year (and the future).

Think about what you'll have after those four months! Go for it--it's only a short time. Think about how hard you've already worked to get to this point--now finishing should be the easiest part. Please don't even think about quitting--then you would have wasted all of this time.
You can rest and be lazy after you're done. Take yourself a little vacation after it's over. Think about how nice that will be. :)

Whenever I get like this (which is quite often),I get rid of distractions, then study little bit at a time
try writing some study notes on sticky paper then leave them up around the house,
Never move on until you understand what you are studying,
Look up what you are studying on the Internet, the fresh wording will stick in your head.
Good Luck!

I gather you have already put in enough time and effort to get to where you are? dont fall at the last hurdle. What tends to help me is to look forward to my time off, i set myself targets to get my work finished say by the weekend and if I do I reward myself.Try it, dont dwell on now just keep looking ahead you havent got long to go and will be so proud of yourself when you have finished. Its probably just the winter blues making things more difficult, youll be okay

Oh Elizabeth! I so felt like this too, please stick with it, you are probably just tired, I do hope this feeling passes, or even that by putting that question on here you feel better for it. Talk to your tutor and/ or student pals anything but just stick with it

If you don't have motivation now, you never will. Why do you want to pack in now? You'll have wasted all that time!

Ask yourself what you want out of life.
If you want to be a loser then quit
but I think you're better than that
