Wow!! you are in a really tough position! Sounds like she might have been trying to break you guys up so that she could go out with him. If "two" of your other friends told you that then you should trust the mouth of two over one. I would slowly put distance between you and her. If your boyfriend has cheated in the past and he was honest about it with you then he may be turning over a new leaf. I would give him a chance and not break up with him, I would keep a watchful eye on him but I would keep my heart totally guarded because knowing that he has cheated in the past, you don't want to get really hurt by him. There is this awesome book I read called, "Never be lied to again!" It will help you know whether someone is lying or not. Also, I watch that new show on MTV or VH1 I can't remember the name but it has lie detection software on it....if you listen to the behaviors and tone of voice of the person you will notice how people are when they are lying.

Well first off you have to let her know how you feel about her lying like that. Then you need to let her go because you won't be able to trust her anymore. If she was a real friend, she would not have lied to you in the first place. Secondly, you don't have any issues with the boyfriend. He wasn't the one that lied so you don't have any trust issues with him. He explained to you what happened, and he has the other friends to back up his story. In a way you should feel bad because you should have at least heard him out before you went off on him. You should be asking whether he wants you back and can he put up with you the next time you hear something that's not true about him.

Get rid of that broad. I had a "best friend" like that in high school. The girl is jealous because you are a beautiful, independent woman with a hot man! Stick to your guns. See, when you date this guy, you have to have a special relationship with this man. One where you can call him up and say, "Hey...XXX Said that you asked her out today! Whats up with that man?" Let him explain. This girl is not your best friend. You go with your gut. And remember, as sad as it may be, you can trust no one but yourself. I know I will get thumbs down for that statement, but it's true. You can not trust anyone except yourself. The world is yours, doll, and she wants a continent.
