...instead of our similarities. We all worship the same God but under teachings of different prophets. Abraham was the first, and we all follow on from there. Why must the differences be highlighted, instead of us all bonding together and moving forward under the SAME GOD!

Just to let you know I am well aware there are huge differences, but the question is why look at these instead of the similarities? Also do you think the differences could have actually arisen through tampering by corrupt people in the past, or through translation?

Dear People i have read Quraan, Bible, Torah, Hindu Scripts

even in Quraan it says "weather you call me Allah or rehman (kind, merciful) its same thing. so doesn't matter wat you call him
Bhagvan, God or Eloh im or Allah. its all same as long as you believe that he is one and only. and if someone tells you that ur God is evil and mine is good he is not a believer. coz a believer
knows that everybody's God is same. ok call him whatever u call him in ur language but plz don't make a partner for him (HE IS ONE AND ONLY)

Because we have to make choices. When I go to buy a used car, I look at the different cars in the lot, and look for their differences. I don't think how they all have wheels, a motor, and a steering wheel - and a transmission too. No, I want to know what the differences are, so I can make an intelligent choice. I think the same hapens with religiouis belief.
On the other hand, there should be mutual respect.
- By the way, I think I would see more differences among the three great religions than you would - and very important differences. But the purpose of your question is not to debate the differences, so I won't set them out here.

I believe in a supreme God creator of all. It would be nice if we could all just care about each other and quit our fussing. No two people see everything the same way. That is why we are called individuals. It would nice if when we need prayer that we could ask all to pray(i did). Prayer was answered. If a person does not believe then they could just send their well wishes. I see God in nature-that is just the way i am-if there was no books written i would still see him in creation and know he was there. I believe in the power of love and i am not speaking about the romantic kind of love. I believe that life is magical. We should not harm others. As long as there is war sadly this will happen. I believe that everyone whether they know it or not has a body mind and a spirit. Pictures of Jesus hang on my wall. When the story of Moses comes on T.V. I watch it every time. It was the first bible story i ever read. I love the Plsams. The 23rd. is my favorite. It is true. I started reading them when i was small. I hope that i do not desturb too many people ---I believe in the God of Abraham. Too many unsual things have happed in my life for me not to believe and i am glad that i do. Someday maybe we will learn to be peaceful with eachother and stop acting so immature. I JUST TOLD YOU HOW I BELIEVE. Everyone has to find their own path to follow.

It is the differences that divide. Truth and error cannot coexist.

People often want to believe that because these three religions are monotheistic and claim Abraham as a patriarch, that they worship the same God. This myth is perpetuated by the Muslims, who want to draw you to them by claiming that Islam is the final of three ways God reached out to mankind. This belief is in error.

Any remote similarities between Islam and Christianity are at best superficial. The differences outweigh the similarities.

An example:

In Islam, the Qur'an states rather clearly, "Proclaim: Allah is One. Allah is Eternal. He neither begets nor was begotten." (Surah 112:1-4)

In Christianity, we believe that Jesus was begotten. (John 1:14) Jesus clearly states that He is God: "Truly, truly I tell you, before there was an Abraham, I am!" (John 8:58) Naturally, there are many other examples I could use, but it wouldn't really help.

Now we have a conundrum: Either Islam is right, and Jesus is not God, nor begotten; or Christianity is right, and Jesus is God, and is begotten. We can't have it both ways. Islam will never hold to a belief that Jesus is God. And Christians will not accept that Jesus is not God, and is not begotten. Therefore, they do not worship the same God.

All 3 [3] ideals have huge inquiries to respond to. One I even have is what did Moses, Jesus and Muhammed seem as though. Who did their pics or took the photos. each and each of something is man made, guy ruled and a lot remark. whilst information is on condition that Moses parted the sea, and that Jesus grow to be greater effective than purely a guy and Muhammed, a guy, did no longer start up the Quran in a cave, is the day i'll have self assurance and consume my shorts. each and all of the controversy in right that's merely refusal to renowned that others have self assurance in some thing diverse. Hindu, Buddhist, Tao, how many Gods do you already know there are being prayed to each damned day in this international. all your arguments and civil discourse is going around like the horses interior the around and sucks the existence out of living. This one talk board is one i could set interior the path of the Mongolian desolate tract. All talk could could desire to ensue there interior the open.

If you get them to accept this truth then we will see.

ALLAH: ALLAH is the proper name in Arabic for The One and Only God, The Creator and Sustainer of the universe. It is used by the Arab Christians and Jews for the God (Eloh-im in Hebrew; 'Allaha' in Aramaic, the mother tongue of Jesus, pbuh). And in Hinduism God is known as Allah in Rigveda bk2 hym1 v11, Rigveda bk3 hym30 v10, Rigveda bk9 hym67 v30. And there is a separate Upanishad named Alloh Upanishad. The word Allah does not have a plural or gender. Allah does not have any associate or partner, and He does not beget nor was He begotten

I agree with you. It is quite sad that people ignore the similarities and are only too quick to point the bad population in each religion and then claim that all of them are exactly the same. What's in a name? God is all in one.
