He is your friend, his friendship with you is important to him..maybe you are the one that thinks of him more than a friend, why it worries you he is dating..be happy for him, thats what true friendship is all about.

Sorry! He was probably trying to keep his options open and didn't mind being involved with more than one girl at a time if you had been willing to do so. It sounds like you thought he misled you by not volunteering the information that he was seeing someone else. I would have felt deceived too, but if you didn't ask he may not have understood that he was expected to disclose that he was seeing someone else. It could be a new relationship or he could have been seeing this person for awhile. Either way it stinks, doesn't it?!

From your say it appears that it is you who got under the impression that he is interested in you. You have not indicated any sign that he encouraged this feeling .I feel that he was interested already in somebody else must have come to you throuh him via somebody else.If so, he appears to be a gentleman.Well shake hands and part as friends.

while it may b wrong for him to keep this from u he was probably trying to keep from hurting u he might have thought that u were falling to fast so he didn't tell u for the sake of u not falling hard to the ground
