If you are shy and not happy being that way then why not try and change? Put yourself in positions where you will need to mix or join an amateur dramatics club to gain confidence. Whatever you do, set yourself small obtainable goals and congratulate yourself when you reach any one of them. Change takes time and patience, although it is worth the effort.
If you do not mind being a little shy - then just be happy with the way you are, lot's of women find a shy guy attractive!!

Depends. Do u feel your shyness is holding u back from living life? Do u think ur shyness is holding u back from making friends? Do u feel ur shyness is secluding u? Or do u feel u r comfortable with ur shyness and it's who u are. If u feel that getting a lil out of ur shell would be beneficial and worth it, then u shd try to improve on those skills. Nothing wrong bout self-development! But if u think this is who u r, and u r comfortable, then be yourself. I love shy people btw. They are adorable :-).

Well a shy guy should only change for himself. No one should change for someone else. Because if someone likes you they should like you for who you are not what you can become.

why change?? If you're not happy with yourself then yes. If you think it will impress somebody else then definately not. Take your time, find some friends that you feel very comfortable with and then slowly start to spread your wings, travel, do mad crazy stuff - you'll become your own person. BUT DO IT FOR YOU.

No, If you change your self on purpose then you will no longer be yourself, at the same sometimes shyness can come across as arrogance so be careful that this isn't you.

only if he wants to.
if hes attracted to louder girls, its probably for the best if he changes. if he doesnt mind, then neither should anyone else. its better to be hated for what you are than loved for what youre not.
remember that. however, it might be a good idea to build up some confidence if you havent already. just it makes you more approachable. xxx

"Change" as in, "mold your personality into what you think a woman or women, categorically, will find appealing?" No.
"Change" as in trying new things, coming out of one's shell, growing and building confidence while remaining true to oneself....absolutely.

It depends on if it's affecting his life and how it's affecting his life. Some girls like shy guys.
