1 pound ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
2 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
1 clove garlic, minced
1 bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
4 teaspoons finely chopped jalapeno chile peppers
1 (29 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (16 ounce) can chili beans, undrained
salt and pepper to taste
In a large saucepan over medium high heat, combine the ground beef, onion and bell peppers. Saute for about 5 minutes, or until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
Add the chili powder, garlic, bay leaf, cumin, chile peppers, tomatoes, tomato sauce and salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Stir in the beans and heat through.

I made this in the slow cooker the other day, but I'm sure it would work on the stove top too.
1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground turkey breast
1/2 lb Italian sausage
28 oz can of chopped or crushed tomatoes
4 cloves of garlic, crushed
3 T. chili powder
Put in slow cooker on high for 5 hours. Add a can of beans, drained. Cook one more hour.
If you're cooking on the stovetop, brown the meats. Add garlic and cook for 10 minutes. Add chili powder and cook 2 minutes. Add tomatoes and bring to boil. Lower heat to a simmer and cook for 1 hour. Add the drained beans, and cook 15 more minutes.

1 lb ground beef
1 medium size onion, diced
2 cans ro-tel tomatoes
2 cans chili beans
2 cans tomato soup
chili powder to taste
Brown ground beef (for added flavor, I always season my gr.beef with ground cumin and chili powder while browning) with onions, drain. Mix all ingredients together in large pot and add chili powder and whatever other seasonings you prefer. I usually fill one of the bean cans with water and use it to rinse out all the cans and to thin the chili. Can be served as soon as heated, but the longer it is cooked, the better it gets.
Great served with corn bread!

Crock Pot Chili
2 lb fried ground beef
1 lg can chili beans
1 sm can diced tomato
1 lg can tomato juice
1 lg bell pepper
1 lg onion
1 pkg. Tombstone chili mix (ignore the directions on the package)
Throw everything into the crock pot, and cook over night. If chili is too thin, I add a little cornstarch and water slurry, and cook it for another 30 min or so.
Top with additional hot sauce, sour cream, cheese, what ever you like :)

You can use this recipe with meat or you can make it meatless and it would be vegan!
1/2-3/4lb of lean ground beef
1 can of kidney beans
1 can of pink beans or Garbanzo beans (you can use all 3 if you want)
1 whole red pepper (you need to dice all of these folloying ingredients)
1 whole green pepper
1 whole onion (I like the red ones)
1 jalepeno (take out the seeds to make it less spicy)
2-3 cups of vegetable broth (just add as much as you need depending on the thickness of the chilli as you are cooking it
1 can of tomato sauce (small can)
2 tsps of cayenene pepper
2-3 table spoons of Chilli Powder (more or less to taste)
3 cloves of garlic (minced)
Season the ground beef with all purpose seasonings & brown it in a frying pan, drain the extra oily fat juices that come out of it when its done cooking
ADD all of the ingredients to a large pot & simmer for at least 30-45 minutes
As long as you have these ingredient you can season to taste, if you want it really thick then add less vegie broth or more depending on what you like
I know the recipe seems really touch and go but trust me...Its simple & perfect!!! Since the meat is cooked before putting it in the pot you just need to let everything simmer til the vegies and beans are tender.
Scoop in to bowls top with shredded cheese if desired & serve with tortilla chips & tabasco sauce! YUMMY!!!! Perfect winter recipe!
Good Luck & Have Fun! ;-)

Chili
1 lb gound meat (beef, chicken, turkey, whatever)

1 jar spaghetti sauce
2 cans spicy or plain red kidney beans
Cayenne pepper, chili powder, or hot sauce (or all of it) to taste

Simple and tastes great! I use mushroom and green pepper spaghetti sauce when I make it. Adds a little more flavor.
