Youdont need any shots to come to Europe.... Please pack very light.... you will be taking the train (in london, or france)... and if you have a big lugagge you get stuck, carrying it everywhere
2 small bags are better than 1 heavy one...
Best way to pay for things...well, I will suggest bring your ATM card, and just some money of the currency with you...(Euros and pounds).... If you are going to be travelling, I do not recommend to bring all the money with you... just use your ATM card at any ATM machine here in Europe when you need more money... You can also bring credit cards, like Mastercard but they are not accepted everywhere....Europe uses the EuroCard... that you get through an European Bank.

Europe isn't that complicated.
You don't need any shots, if you need to see a doctor, there are hospitals and medical centers everywhere. If you need prescription free medication, you can go to every pharmacy. In Britain you also get these things at a drugstore like Boots, in other European countries drugs are only sold in pharmacies. In the tourist areas as well as the big cities you find English speaking doctors and nurses everywhere.
You come to Europe in Autumn, pack some T-Shirts and Pullovers, jeans and maybe something for a special occasion. My suggestion: Pack light, nobody cares if you wear a sweater twice! You have to carry your bags around yourself, and if you really need something there are thousands of shops to visit (Clothes, especially sportswear is a little more expensive in Europe than in the States, England, especially London is quite expensive but Spain is a good place to shop!)
Sorry I can't predict the weather for the next 8 months but normally the average temperature in the north will be around 8 to 18° C, in Barcelona and Nice it can be warmer, too. Just pack a little bit of everything.
You don't need to bring cash from the states. The easyest and cheapest way is to use an ATM card to get cash. All big companies accept ATM cards (MAESTRO) and credit cards (Visa, Eurocard, Amex; Diners Club not everywhere)
If you just go to England, Spain and France a little Spanish and French would be good. Especially the French don't speak foreign languages too well.
Enjoy Europe!

As this is a cruise, you can get most of the info in the cruise brochure.
You need a set of formal wear on formalnights, and dressy Casual for all Else.

You will need Money, for Drinks on Board, Gambling on Board, Shops on Board, Bingo On Board,Mandatory Tips on board, Side trips at different destinations, Check with cruise line for booking them ahead of time, so you don't miss out on them. There are far more people on a ship than can fit on the side tours. Language will not be a problem, at any stops, english is widely understood. Read the brochure and go to the Cruise website.
