Race has nothing whatsoever to do with Judaism. The child of any Jewess -- be she white, black, yellow, or green -- is a Jew. The only other way to become a Jew is by conversion. Jews come from all races. Why on earth would conversions be limited to any race????

Regarding "inheriting" one's religion, if somebody's mother is Jewish they are considered to be Jewish.
