considering how many couples are going to be overly demonstrative on feb 14th, (and since most of my friends have someone where as i am single still, so kicking it with them is kinda out of the question) i'm just wondering how everyone else is planning on spending valentines day. heck, it'd be nice to do something other than what i'm planning and i'd like to get some suggestions from others here on answers.

I have not yet planned about V-day.It wont bother me much.Its going to be fun out with my single friends.I am going to spend that day just like any other day.As you know,singles can always have fun no matter what day it is.Just chill and relax.Its just a day,nothin more,nothin less.We have got nothin to lose.Singles can make the best out of this day by engaging themselves in all those activities that fascinate them.
The idea here is to offer love to yourself.Make yourself happy.Make yourself feel special.Make a list of some of your wishes and try to fulfil at least one on this day to make it memorable.Its our day and we can get the best out of it.

I am going to stay home, cook myself something to eat, take a bath and don't have to endure anyone knocking on the bathroom door. Then I am going to watch a movie I bought some time ago and maybe I'll pop popcorn and maybe I won't. Then I will call my friends from out of state that are single too and talk to them. Then I will listen to music and call it a night. Doing this all in the comfort of my home without any interruptions.

I don't feel the need to do anything on V-day to be honest. I am single. I hv nothing planned. I am actually not even interested in dating as of now. I like someone, but they are not on the same page. Why to feel pressured to do something just coz everyone's doing something? Be yourself. Do what u r comfortable with, and what u want to do. It will just be a normal day for me. Ofcourse, I will feel a bit sorry for myself, but my time's not come yet, u know? :-)

If your a guy: go to a bar or a club. V-Day has the same effect on girls that wedding recptions do. You'll get laid. If your a girl: join a internet dating site. They'll have specials over Valentines Day. Its like going to the romaince grocery store.

I have a full time job and own my home - I've got responsibilities and since we're talking about a Wednesday I'm sure I'll go to work then go home and have dinner. Exercise and watch some TV before going to bed and starting Thursday. It's just another day - get over thinking about it as anything else.

Before I was engaged I used to go out on Valentine's day with my other single friends. Lots of people do it. I ran into my fiance that way!
