Eventually another war will start. The world is not designed to be peaceful, there will always be competition. If it ever wasn't chaotic on some level, it would be so boring. I'm not advocating war, just stating a fact that the 'World System on Planet Earth' if you will functions through order and chaos.
Populations would keep growing and eventually out pace our ability to provide for ourselves, then conflict would surely take place. Everyone would have to have the same things for that to happen, otherwise some people might get jealous. There would be no competition over anything, it would never work despite how ideal it sounds.

There is a Sci-Fi show called Serenity.
The crew finds a Planet that has been "removed from history". covered up and off limits. They go there and discover what it is the government was trying to hide.
Here is a quote from the movie:
-----------------------
Dr. Caron: These are just a few of the images we've recorded. And you can see, it wasn't what we thought. There's been no war here and no terraforming event. The environment is stable. It's the Pax. The G-23 Paxilon Hydrochlorate that we added to the air processors. It was supposed to calm the population, weed out aggression. Well, it works. The people here stopped fighting. And then they stopped everything else. They stopped going to work, they stopped breeding, talking, eating. There's 30 million people here, and they all just let themselves die.
--------------------------------
Even though it is a fictional movie, it does illustrate a point that few understand. Our aggressive insticts is what allows us to survive. what drives us to better ourselves. to defend against other attacks. to drive progress and invention.
It is only when those aggressive insticts get away from us that they become bad. when left unchecked, they lead to wars and other evils that men do.
But kept in check. they are the driving force that allows mankind to survive and even prosper.

I think it would be......peaceful. I also think the press would quickly run out of things to report!! Then I could watch more Friends reruns.
